PENNY ROAD OFFICES | Wenatchee, WA
This facility accommodates two main tenants, a real estate agency and an accounting firm, along with one lease space. Its northwestern lodge character provides warmth and human scale to a commercial use. Near the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers, the building takes in a panorama of the valley’s sculpted mountains. Use of computer generated 3D images helped the owner in visualizing the appearance of the 27,000 SF building before construction began.
SONICO, INC. | Moses Lake, WA
New construction of a 28,000 sf facility with aircraft component repair and storage space, including a portion for administrative support. The building shell is tilt-up concrete insulated panel walls. Long-span steel roof joists allow for interior layout flexibility.
EZ's BURGER DELUXE | Wenatchee, WA
A design award winner, EZ's resembles a 50's diner, but was actually an extensive 1992 renovation of a gas station office. Exterior treatments include colored plaster, glass block and its most distinctive feature, roof-mounted signate. Departing from normal 2-D signage, EZ's 3-D rooftop signage of super-sized burgers, fries and Coke becomes part of the building itself.
